The Jewish general came to the the Jewish-controlled congress (Mohamed Khodr, Sharon to Peres: “We Control America” , Media Monitors Network, October 3, 2001, http://www.mediamonitors.net/khodr49.html) in Washington to report on the war in Iraq.
For how long? How many soldiers would need to be in Iraq at the end of 2008?
The Jewish general didn’t wish to say.
First there needed to be a delay, and then an opportunity for “evaluation and consolidation”. (Petraeus: Ekstra kampstyrker skal forlænges, DR, April 8, 2008)
John McCain would like to be the next president. He says, We will stay. Its going better, and we will stay there as long as it is necessary. No longer, but as long as it takes for Iraq to take care of itself. (DR-korrespondent: Mest format over McCain ved Irak-høringer, DR, april 9, 2008)
Others will explain that there is no progress:
And where will we have gotten? Nowhere. American men and women will continue to return home in flag-draped coffins, their young lives sacrificed on the altar of this endless nightmare, brought to us by men with minds so twisted they don’t
even realize what a mistake it all was. There is no other undertaking in American history that combines the crushing volume of delusion, dishonesty, bad faith, incompetence, and unforeseen yet utterly predictable consequences that is this war. (Paul Waldman, The Utter Uselessness of the Petraeus Report, The American Prospect, August 22, 2007, http://www.prospect.org/cs/articles?article=the_utter_uselessness_of_the_petraeus_report)
So how can we understand this? Is there progress or not?
It depends on whose perspective you take. The money is flowing fast. The goy soldiers are dropping like flies. If there’s a tidy profit at the end of the day for the Jews, there’s definitely progress.
They’re busy in the counting house, as the numbers get bigger and bigger.
And as for Iraq, well, there’s a lot of progress there too!
Some will tell you the war was all about oil (Dan Morgan and David B. Ottaway, In Iraqi War Scenario, Oil Is Key Issue, Washington Post, September 15, 2002), and oil has been gotten. It flows, and the people running the war make money.
Others will tell you the war was for Israel. (Mark Weber, Iraq: A War For Israel, Institute for Historical Review, http://www.ihr.org/leaflets/iraqwar.shtml
) This is at least partially true, in that a lot of Jews live in that country. Maybe Israel will get oil directly via pipeline from Iraq.
But to find out what wars like this are really for, we just need to look at the beginnings of Jewish warfare. And that no further than Shechem.
The Jews came into the area. They used deception to lower the defences of the locals. Then they moved in and did their thing.
[25] And it came to pass on the third day, when they were sore, that two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brethren, took each man his sword, and came upon the city boldly, and slew all the males.[26] And they slew Hamor and Shechem his son with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem’s house, and went out. Genesis 34 (Holy Bible)
The Jews running the Iraq war are using the same playbook as they did back then.
They came upon the city boldly (“shock and awe”).
Slew the males.
And that’s progress for the people running this war.
But the progress has been “uneven”. There are still plenty of Iraqi men left to go.
[27] The sons of Jacob came upon the slain, and spoiled the city, because they had defiled their sister.[28] They took their sheep, and their oxen, and their asses, and that which was in the city, and that which was in the field,[29] And all their wealth, and all their little ones, and their wives took they captive, and spoiled even all that was in the house. Genesis 34
The spoiling of the country is also going well:
Looters have ransacked the Iraqi National Museum in Baghdad, stealing or destroying thousands of priceless artefacts.
As much of Baghdad descended into chaos after the collapse of Saddam Hussein’s regime last week, a dozen looters broke into Iraq’s biggest
archaeological museum, shattering ancient pottery, overturning statues, and escaping with masterpieces.Surveying the smashed display cases at the museum last night, Nabhal
Amin, the deputy director, struggled to hold back the tears. “They have looted or destroyed 170,000 items of antiquity dating back thousands of years,” she said. “They were worth billions of dollars.” (Elizabeth Day and Philip Sherwell, Looters strip Iraqi National Museum of its antiquities, Telegraph, April 13, 2003, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2003/04/13/wirq13.xml)
Looting treasures worth billions of dollars.
That’s progress. Its a matter of spoiling all their wealth.
And the woman? These pictures say it all!
The little ones? “In Iraq, Brooks told the audience, the Americans would rape and kill women and children and they would be assisted by soldiers from the Black Watch regiment.” (Muslim preacher ‘made rape claim’ , BBC, February 5, 2008)
The Iraqi government faces a December deadline, imposed by the world’s wealthiest countries, to complete its final oil law. Industry analysts expect that the result will be a radical departure from the laws governing the country’s oil-rich neighbors, giving foreign multinationals a much higher rate of return than with other major oil producers and locking in their control over what George Bush called Iraq’s “patrimony” for decades, regardless of what kind of policies future elected governments might want to pursue. (Joshua Holland, Bush’s Petro-Cartel Almost Has Iraq’s Oil, AlterNet, October 16, 2006)
So when the Jewish general tells congress progress is being made, he’s actually telling the truth.
But don’t expect this progress to result in an end of the military occupation in Iraq anytime soon. Not all the Iraqis define progress the same way Jews do.
